Dakota educators from the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate tribe visited today and shared the importance of the tatanka (buffalo) to the Dakota people. Kindergarten students enjoyed their storytelling and learning what different parts of the buffalo were used for.
Mrs.Hanson's 4th graders wrap up Adopt a Cow program by playing "MooManagement" a spin on Monopoly. Mrs. Ringkob has been presenting the program for six weeks. The kids learned a lot and had so much fun!

Way too much deliousness created in the kitchen lately! This crew has been busy baking all sorts of cakes and cheesecakes, including angel food, chiffon and a jelly roll.
