JH & HS Cross Country will start on Monday, August 15th at 8 am. Please meet in the arena lobby. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Symens!

JH Football & JH Volleyball will not take their pictures on the 16th. They will take their team pictures at a later day.

7th- 12th Grade Info: Beginning on Monday, August 15th, students will be able to
see their schedules on the Campus Portal app. Students in grades 7-8 have been
assigned a locker and can also see this on the Campus Portal app. If students in
grades 9-12 would like a locker, they can visit Traci in the office. Students in
grades 9-12 with questions/changes on their schedules should contact Mrs. James,
Mrs. Anderson or Traci Malpert. Students 9-12 can also begin picking up their
computers this week. Students must bring their backpack(computer approved) and
parents must complete Back to School form before checking out devices.


6th Grade Info: For incoming 6th grade students: Registration will be held on
Tuesday, August 16th at 1:00PM in the lunchroom. This meeting is for students
only. Parents, please drop your child off at the main entrance. Students may
bring their school supplies to put in their lockers at this time. 6th grade will need
to a bring backpack that can be approved for carrying students computers.


Back to School Kindergarten-5th Grade And New Students to District
K-5th Info: Elementary students grades K-5, may bring school supplies the day of
Open House. Students who are new to the Britton-Hecla School District are asked
to stop in to register during the two weeks prior to the opening of school. Please
bring a copy of the student's birth certificate and their immunization records.
Reminder: a second MMR shot is now required.

Back to School Information for the 22-23 School Year:
Britton-Hecla Public School will begin the 22-23 school year on Tuesday, August 23rd, with a full day of classes (E-Learning/Dual Credit Classes begin Mon. August 22nd.) Please visit our Website or download our BHSD app from your app store for the most up to date information.
We welcome you to our Open House, Tuesday, August 16th from 4:00PM to 6:00PM

Come get your first look at the Britton-Hecla High School Football Team at their Gatorade scrimmage on Thursday, August 11th at 7 pm at Hugh K. Schilling football field. Admission is open, but would appreciate Gatorade or granola bars for the the team to use on their road trips.

High School Volleyball - parent and fundraiser meeting on Tuesday, August 9th at 6 pm in the arena lobby. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Ochsner or AD Symens.

Our cheerleaders have been working hard at cheer camp. They can't wait to share everything they learned with the Braves fans!
