The Britton-Hecla School will host a food drive next week, October 16th-20th. K-12 students can bring their items to the school to be counted and the Student Council will deliver the donations to our local food pantry. Please see the list of suggested items and don't forget to check the expiration dates!

Flu shots will be available to students and staff at the school on October 24th. Students and staff that would like to receive the vaccination must have a copy of their insurance card OR $46 payment if you choose not to bill insurance. The consent form needed to receive the flu shot is attached to this post, it can be found under parent resources on our website, or picked up in the office.
We are looking to send a fan bus to the football game to be held at Northern State University this coming Friday. The booster club is offering the bus at no charge to the riders. Students in grades K through 8 will need to have a parent ride on the bus as well. BH activity passes or tickets will not be accepted at the game. If you are interested in riding the bus there is a sign up sheet in the office or you can call Traci. Deadline is noon on Thursday. come support the Braves.

The BHHS marching band will not be marching in the NSU Gypsy Day parade this year. Instead, they will participate in the Lake Region Marching Festival held in Groton on Friday, October 13th.
